Course Summary Report

This video will walk end users through the Course Summary report in the FAST Student application. We will look at this data from the perspective of both the centralized Registrar's Office as well as from a de-centralized perspective such as in the academic units wishing to monitor ongoing registration, enrolment and instructor's workloads by term. Transfer Credit Detail Report

This video will show end users how to find and run a new report in FAST Student (as of 4.3.12) displaying Transfer Credit details as they have been entered in your ERP on the student record. The report is a comprehensive view of all Transfer Credit details and can be run by Term or to search for course equivalency by Subject or Course level! Admissions

This video is going to cover the baseline Admissions report, both for use by the Registrar's office staff and also for de-centralized end users in the academic departments. This report is used to track student applicants, their supporting documents, and the status of their applications. The report will cover all the basic features, explain and demonstrate some new of the new features and offer some handy tips and tricks for using the report that you may not be aware of.

Dashboards and Graphing

This course offers an introduction to the Student Dashboard and will demonstrate how to create a basic graph using your report data. We will then add the new graph to the dashboard and show users how to manage the dashboard effectively by creating multiple dashboards and attaching a variety of charts, graphs and grids to each one.

Functional Departmental User Course

This course is intended for departmental staff including department secretaries, admin officers, advisors and even department Chairs and will provide a global overview of key Student Reporting concepts that relate to the departmental workflow. Registrar's Office Tutorial

This course is intended for staff in the Registrar's Office including Clerks, Assistants and Officers in the Admissions and Records departments, Academic Advising, Accounts Receivable and Convocation staff. The course will offer a global overview of key concepts and how they relate to OReg workflow. The reports that we will cover include: Admissions reporting, General Student info including Biographic Details, Account Holds, Academic History, Convocation Details including Degrees Earned, Pre-convocation missing data and A/R Holds, Registration and Waitlisting reports and finally an overview of the Graduate Admissions and Records reporting items.

This video will walk all end users through the use of Grouping in your FAST reporting. We will cover demos from FAST Student using grouping "counts" and FAST Finance using grouping "sum". This tutorial can be applied to all FAST applications and is designed to give an overview of the Grouping function to show you the different options available. Grouping is a great way to summarize or aggregate your data and display your report detail in a different way, quickly and easily!

Students will learn how to create, manage and organize their own Dashboards and then learn how to create a basic graph from a typical reporting page. This course is designed for users of any FAST reporting application and will introduce them to the concepts and functionality inherent in the Dynamic Selection Reporting toolset. Student: Early Alerts for Instructors

This course will walk faculty and instructors through the process of creating and sending out Early Alerts to students at risk in any of your classes. We will do a short re-cap on how to find and access your Class Lists, then show you how to create and format an Early Alert message, include personalized text, pre-formatted text from a global template and also include additional departments or faculties on the Alert email. Administrators should also watch the Early Alerts Admin course - this is a necessary pre-requisite for setting up the Early Alerts feature for your faculty and instructors to use successfully.

Student: Faculty and Instructors

This tutorial is designed for all faculty and instructors within FAST Student Reporting. As an Instructor, you will learn how to access the items you need quickly and easily. We will identify short-cuts and then explore the details of the Class List and show you how to produce it, and also how to print it or send an email to your entire class. We will also demonstrate how to access your class grading at the end of each term and upload and submit your grades from an Excel spreadsheet.
